ASC President Michael Berkow on March 30 CNA panel focusing on security solutions to help international communities

New York, NY, March 27, 2010—Altegrity Security Consulting (ASC) President Michael Berkow is taking part in a CNA-sponsored panel discussion and workshop on building security at the community level.

The panel will focus on discussions about the nature of the partnership between military and civil law enforcement in restoring security to communities recovering from (or in some cases still experiencing) extended periods of violent conflict. The panel discussion will be conducted at CNA headquarters on March 30, 2010, in Alexandria, Va.

Mr. Berkow, former Chief of the Savannah, Ga., Police Department, is an acknowledged expert on police investigations and operations as well as developing policing infrastructure in post conflict nations. He has significant experience in global policing and security solutions, having served in high-level positions in both the U.S. and international law enforcement communities.

CNA is a non-profit organization that during World War II pioneered the field of operations analysis to help the Navy save lives and use its scarce resources more effectively. Today, CNA serves the public interest by providing in-depth analysis and results-oriented solutions to help government leaders choose the best course of action in setting policy and managing operations.
