Bill Bratton, ARI Chairman, hailed as “Globocop” in BusinessWeek article

FALLS CHURCH, Va., April 6, 2010 – Altegrity Risk International (ARI) Chairman William J. Bratton, who established his reputation in the law enforcement and criminal justice communities as one of America’s premier police chiefs is featured in a BusinessWeek article titled, “Bill Bratton, Globocop."

“He tamed crime in New York and Los Angeles. Next stop…Kabul?” the article begins as it chronicles how the former New York Police Commissioner Bill Bratton, took his expertise to Los Angeles Police and as Chief, led his department through “grueling, federally mandated reforms. He had put into practice all of his ideas about policing and management and leadership, and they had worked.” BusinessWeek then tells how Chief Bratton, after seven years with LAPD, considered his next move and transferred his successful methods to become chairman of New York based security consulting firm ARI, where “he intends to bring the best of American policing to some of the most dangerous places in the world.”  The article also accounts for Mr. Bratton’s policing experiences in Brazil and Venezuela. One of Altegrity Risk International’s services is to provide international civilian policing advisory and training.
