Altegrity Risk International Chicago Office Names New Directors for Key Posts

NEW YORK, N.Y., April 16, 2010 – Altegrity Risk International (ARI) has named Jennifer Mackovjak as Director of Investigations for the Chicago office. Ms. Mackovjak joins ARI after five years at Kroll, Inc., in Chicago, where as a Senior Director she handled a variety of investigations, including corporate internal investigations, pre-transaction due diligence, hostile takeovers, patent infringement disputes, competitive intelligence, and various matters in the gaming industry.

While at Kroll, Ms. Mackovjak spent a two-month secondment in its Hong Kong office. Earlier in her career, she spent seven years as a senior detective investigator in the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office. Prior to attending the police academy for this role, she worked in the D.A.’s office as an intelligence analyst in its Homicide Investigation and Major Offense Units. Ms. Mackovjak’s extensive experience in the D.A.’s office included investigating state racketeering, homicide, grand larceny, money laundering, insurance fraud, identify theft, securities fraud, bribery, bid-rigging, coercion, and child abuse. A licensed private investigator in Illinois, she received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Marquette University, where she studied Criminology.

ARI has also named Susan Sullivan as the Director of Research for its Chicago office. Ms. Sullivan comes to ARI from Kroll’s Chicago office, where she was first a Senior Analyst, then promoted to Director. For five years, she worked on a wide range of domestic and international investigations, including internal fraud, due diligence, litigation support, proxy contests, and computer forensics analysis. Ms. Sullivan possesses particular expertise in database and online research, and experience investigating public corruption, including campaign finance violations and pay-to-play schemes in Illinois and elsewhere.

Prior to joining Kroll, Ms. Sullivan was Associate Director of States Projects at the Center for Public Integrity in Washington, D.C., where she investigated a wide range of federal and state-level campaign finance and lobbyist issues. Ms. Sullivan received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Notre Dame in 2003 in American Studies, with a concentration in the Hesburgh Program in Public Service.
