ARI Chairman William Bratton to Receive Honorary Doctorate from Roger Williams University, Speak at Commencement
NEW YORK, NY, May 4, 2010 –
Altegrity Risk International (ARI) Chairman William Bratton, who established his reputation in the law enforcement and criminal justice communities as one of America’s premier police chiefs, will receive an honorary Doctor of Justice Studies degree from Roger Williams University at its commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 22. He will also address the graduating class as the commencement speaker.
“Mr. Bratton’s outstanding record of leadership and his dedication to public service are an inspiration for all of our new graduates and their families,” says Roger Williams President Roy Nirschel. “Innovation, dedication, and a commitment to community and the greater good are esteemed virtues across the workforce, no matter the discipline. Roger Williams University will confer more than 1,100 degrees during its 2010 Commencement exercises. In addition to Mr. Bratton, Diane C. Mederos and Robert F. Stoico will receive honorary degrees that day.
