ARI Chairman William Bratton Joins Nation’s Top Business Leaders at High-Level “Disruptive By Design” Conference
NEW YORK, NY, May 20, 2010 –
Altegrity Risk International (ARI) Chairman William Bratton, who as one of America’s premier police chiefs was among the first to use data to successfully turn around security and law enforcement efforts across the country, will be a featured speaker at the “WIRED Business Conference: In Partnership with MDC, Disruptive By Design” on June 14, 2010, at the Morgan Library and Museum in New York City.
The Disruptive By Design conference is sponsored by Wired magazine, named Magazine of the Decade in 2009 by AdweekMedia, and MDC Partners, a progressive marketing and communications network that champions the most innovative entrepreneurial talent. Mr. Bratton, former Commissioner of NYPD and Chief of LAPD, has been invited to discuss ARI and his experiences with CompStat, a data-driven predictive model for policing that employs accurate, real-time intelligence for the rapid deployment of resources. In particular, he will discuss how successful and sustainable transformational change can be created despite intractable challenges and restrictive budgets, and how this process that can be replicated in other organizational settings. Mr. Bratton will draw from his personal experience with five successful law enforcement turnarounds to show how success can be achieved when the beliefs and energies of a critical mass of people are engaged in the process.
In addition to Mr. Bratton, featured speakers include Chris Anderson, Editor-In-Chief, Wired magazine; Steve Case, Chairman and CEO, Revolution and Co-Founder, America Online; Caterina Fake, Co-founder, Hunch and Flickr; Mark Pincus, Founder and CEO, Zynga; Vivian Schiller, President and CEO, National Public Radio; Howard Schultz, Chairman, President, and CEO, Starbucks; and Frederick W.
