ARI Chairman William Bratton points RWU grads to the future
NEW YORK, NY, June 9, 2010 –
Altegrity Risk International (ARI) Chairman William J. Bratton, who established his reputation in the law enforcement and criminal justice communities was awarded an honorary doctorate by Roger Williams University and gave their commencement speech on May 22. The speech is featured in its entirety on YouTube.
Drawing from experiences in his life, Mr. Bratton discussed the importance of personal spirit that drives personal accomplishment and his belief in the diversity of people who can create a stronger American society. He told the graduates they can help to change the future: “I have had opportunity over last 40 years to help to create some of that change by working with great leaders…to help to make this country a better, more tolerant place...to make it a beacon for others who seek to come here.”
Roger Williams University conferred more than 1,100 degrees during its 2010 Commencement exercises.
