USIS names Paul Dillahay as President and Chief Operating Officer
FALLS CHURCH, Va., June 14, 2010 - USIS, an Altegrity company, has named Paul Dillahay as President and Chief Operating Officer (COO), a new position for the company. USIS is the largest commercial provider of security investigation services to the federal government and a provider of specialized training solutions, including overseas support to post-conflict nations and indigenous law enforcement personnel. Mr. Dillahay reports to USIS CEO Bill Mixon and is based in Falls Church, Virginia.
Mr. Dillahay will provide day-to-day leadership and manage the business’ overall financial, operational, and sales performance.
“I selected Paul for this important new post in USIS because of his significant leadership, financial management, and performance improvement experience,” explained Mr. Mixon. “Paul will work closely with each of our divisional leaders to help us continue the evolution of our business strategy—providing support to our organic and M&A growth—and help our frontline leaders fine-tune our processes and create additional success for our business.”
Mr. Dillahay joins USIS from Lockheed Martin Corporation, where he has worked since 2003, most recently serving as vice president of operations for ISG&S-Defense. There, he led a broad line of business providing mission, IT, and military intelligence support to the defense and intelligence community with more than 2,700 employees while concurrently implementing growth and leadership initiatives. Mr. Dillahay’s other roles with the firm included vice president positions in project finance and financial strategies. He was also CFO for Lockheed Martin’s government IT Services business from 2005 to 2007.
Prior to Lockheed Martin, Mr. Dillahay worked for General Electric Corporation for six years, serving in positions of increasing responsibility, including vice president/manager, global financial planning and analysis. At GE, he was responsible for leading the annual development of both the operating and strategic plans for insurance and lending operations in seven countries. Earlier in his career, Mr. Dillahay worked for Price Waterhouse LLP.
Mr. Dillahay holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Science, with an emphasis in Finance and Accounting, from Lock Haven University in Pennsylvania.
