Altegrity names David S. Spannare as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer
Falls Church, Va., June 24, 2010 –
Altegrity, Inc.—the global screening, risk management, and security solutions provider—has named David S. Spannare as senior vice president and chief information officer. Mr. Spannare has been CIO for Altegrity’s USIS business since June 2009.
As CIO and primary advisor to Altegrity’s senior management on information technology, Mr. Spannare will ensure that the organization’s IT resources align with the firm’s strategic business vision. He will also be responsible for supporting Altegrity’s business growth initiatives and providing leadership on such issues as mergers and acquisitions.
Mr. Spannare will oversee a complex IT organization that encompasses multiple business units. He will directly supervise corporate-level systems and common elements, such as IT security, ERP systems, IT infrastructure, compliance policies, data center facilities, and internal customer support. Mr. Spannare will also facilitate cross-business unit review of technology strategy for products and services supporting the company’s markets.

Prior to joining USIS, Mr. Spannare was CIO and vice president of information technology at ManTech International Corporation for six years. From 1989 to 2002, he served in senior IT executive roles at Northrop Grumman and Litton Industries, including the position of CIO at the business unit level. In prior roles at Litton, Mr. Spannare also had responsibility for revenue generation for IT services to commercial and government clients. Prior to 1989, he held a series of leadership positions responsible for providing IT services to Litton Divisions.
Mr. Spannare has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland, College Park, Maryland.
