Altegrity Security Consulting names Judy Pal as Director of Operations
NEW YORK, NY, June 28, 2010 –
Altegrity Security Consulting (ASC) has named Judy Pal as its Director of Operations. Ms. Pal will report to ASC President Michael Berkow.

Prior to joining Altegrity, Ms. Pal served as chief of staff in the office of chief of police for the Milwaukee, Wisconsin, police department from July 2009–June 2010. In this role, she was responsible for a staff of both sworn and civilian members; a $200 million budget; research, policy, and grant management functions in the Office of Management and Planning; Homeland Security staff; and public communications and intergovernmental relations. Ms. Pal performed similar duties as administrator in the office of chief of police for the Savannah Chatham Metropolitan Police Deparment in Savannah, Georgia, from April 2008–May 2009. Ms. Pal has also served in management capacities with police departments in Atlanta, Georgia, and Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
In her 27-year career, Ms. Pal has also supported numerous organizations in both the public and private sectors with her significant communications and public relations expertise. These include the City of Irvine, California; Madison Square Garden; the Global Television Network; and Labatt’s Ontario Breweries.
Additionally, Ms. Pal is an adjunct faculty/trainer, specializing in improving public relations, crisis management, and image development training to law enforcement and other first responder agencies across the United States and Canada.
Ms. Pal earned her B.A. at Durham College of Applied Arts and Technology and a Certificate in Police Leadership at Dalhousie University. A published author and winner of numerous awards for communications excellence, she also served as president of the National Information Officers Association in 2007.
