Altegrity names Keith Bernius as Vice President, Corporate Finance
FALLS CHURCH, Va., July 6, 2010 –
Altegrity, Inc.—the global screening, risk management, and security solutions provider—has named Keith Bernius as vice president, corporate finance. Reporting to Jeffrey Campbell, senior vice president and Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Bernius will have overall responsibility for Altegrity’s financial planning and analysis. He will work closely with each Altegrity business to develop long-range and annual financial plans and forecasts as well as design and monitor appropriate metrics to evaluate and drive performance.
“Keith’s experience, both as an operating business unit finance leader and in establishing and leading corporate financial planning and analysis functions, ideally suits him to lead our financial planning activities,” said Mr. Campbell. “He is a proven, collaborative leader who will be a very positive addition to the finance team as we evolve and grow our company.”
Most recently, Mr. Bernius served as a consultant to a $6 billion diversified industrial company in designing and implementing a global financial planning and analysis function. Previously, he was with Alpharma Inc., a multinational specialty pharmaceutical company, where he served in a series of positions of increasing responsibility from 2003 to 2009, most recently as chief financial officer of its Pharmaceuticals Division. In this role, Mr. Bernius had overall responsibility for all aspects of the finance function as well as responsibility for trade relations and commercial operations. Prior to joining Alpharma, Mr. Bernius was with the Ingersoll Rand Company for four years with responsibility for corporate financial planning and analysis. He began his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he was a senior associate in the firm’s Assurance and Business Advisory Services Group.
Mr. Bernius is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of New York and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Manhattan College in Riverdale, New York.
