Mark Vieno joins USIS as Finance Controller
FALLS CHURCH, Va., December 9, 2009 – USIS, an Altegrity company, has named Mark Vieno as Controller. USIS is the largest commercial provider of security investigation services to the federal government and a provider of specialized training solutions, including overseas support to post-conflict nations and indigenous law enforcement personnel. Mr. Vieno will report to USIS CFO Andre Oberholzer and will be based in Falls Church, Virginia. He’ll assist with financial management, contract performance, financial performance measurements, and other financial leadership responsibilities in support of USIS operations.
“Mark will manage three important functions: Accounting and Reporting; Financial Systems; and Billing and Revenue Recognition,” says Mr. Oberholzer. “Together, Mark and I will work closely with USIS President and CEO William Mixon and the leadership of our four divisions—Security Solutions, Training and Law Enforcement, Investigations Services, and Information Management—providing financial, accounting, and reporting services.”
Mr. Vieno has more than 20 years of executive experience in finance, including service in Controller and Vice President of Finance positions in companies providing services to the government. Most recently, he was the Controller at STG, a provider of healthcare, human capital, and other services to various Government agencies.
Mr. Vieno is a CPA and has an MBA from the University of Minnesota. He is also a Lieutenant in the U.S. Naval Reserve.
